More about The Lodge

Outside there is a private part of the garden where you can sit in the morning for coffee, or in the evening with a glass of wine and parking is directly outside the house. The beautiful village in which it is based, Hindolveston, is only 20 minutes from Holt, with it's lovely and luxurious individual shops, and the lodge is only 30 mins from the cliffs and the beaches of the North Norfolk coast with Holkham Bay and Wells-next-the-sea, a Great location for birdwatching, and several important sightings nearby. Even including some beautiful spots to see the Honey buzzard. There's plenty of paths for a Good walk too, with the coast nearby and Sheringham park and Holt country park being very popular choices for guests all year round.

Furthermore scattered in towns around The Lodge there are many great places to eat, including Cookies at Salthouse and the Wiveton fruit farm where all their fruit and veg are grown only a few yards away, and in lovely surroundings overlooking the saltings and the sea. You'll sample some of the best fish and chips you will ever eat in Well-next-the-sea as you gaze over the busy sea harbour. Go on to see the seals show off to the tourists too, depart at Morston quay, sometimes they'll even stop at Blakeney point for a better view! If you want to do more shopping, Norwich is only 40 minutes away, and the churches are wonderful. Bring a bike and you can find all those winding green lanes that take you into the heart of Norfolk. If you don't fancy driving all day, the coasthopper bus goes from Hunstanton, right around the coast you can pop on and off all day! These are some of the many things you can go, do and see in Norfolk.
